AUGUST 2024

The fall semester is almost here! We hope summer has been a special time for all of your families. We hope all your students are sunburnt and ready for school to start again. Between camps, mission trips, Collide nights, and beach events, it has been a summer to remember for students ministry here at OCC! As we transition into the school year, we want to send out some exciting updates to our school year schedule. Here is what fall semester will look like…

HIGH SCHOOL

What: Collide
When: Every Wednesday, 7pm-830pm (Doors Open 645)
Where: 102 6th Ave North 

A combined gathering of all middle school and high school students. Gathering formats include worship + message nights, special event nights, and grade-specific small group nights with leaders. (Note: We will not be going back to Monday house meetings. The monthly high school socials will be replacing this.)

What Else: Monthly High School Socials Once a month, fun, off-campus nights for High Schoolers only. These dates will be posted on the student webpage and on social media.

What Else: Fall Camping Trip November TBA

MIDDLE SCHOOL

What: Collide

A combined gathering of all middle school and high school students. Gathering formats include worship + message nights, special event nights, and grade-specific small group nights with leaders.

What Else: Spring Camping Trip Feb/March TBA

FALL HIGH TIDE EVENT

What: Surf Camp Night
When: September 4th, 6pm-8pm
Where: 102 6th Ave North

BBQ event on the beach, with a free group surf lesson. This is a big “invite all your friends” event. No surfboard, experience, or money needed! (Note: There will be other beach activities available for those not interested in surfing.)

PARENTS NIGHT
(AKA FLY ON THE WALL NIGHT)

What: Collide + parents 
When: October 2, 7pm-830pm (Doors Open 6:45)
Where: 102 6th Ave North 

A chance to come and see what happens every Wednesday night. All parents are invited to come hang out with us for the night, meet each other, meet the leaders, and enjoy the night with us. You won’t want to miss it!
